- Simply The Best!!
I have been lifting for a few years now and I have tried various supplements. I have trained as an athlete for pretty much my whole life.
One scoop of Optimum Nutrition Whey is 30.4g. One scoop contains 24g of protein, 5.5g of BCAAs, and 4g of Glutamine & Glutamic Acid. The BCAAs will help with recovery. Glutamine supposedly will help improve protein metabolism & decrease muscle breakdown.

The taste is one of the best parts of this whey. The taste is one of the best reasons to choose Optimum Nutrition over anything. I have tried the Extreme Milk Chocolate flavor and I loved it. I have not tried any of the other flavors yet, but I know I should venture out and try new ones.
This protein mixes great, with no residue, and very little foaming, which resides after a minute or so. I usually use water for my shakes, simply because it's more easily accessible. However, when I use milk, I can tell that it is just as good, and some might argue better.
Simply put, this product works like a protein supplement should. It is incredibly effective. I did notice that I was able to recover alot faster after my workouts. DOMS did not seem to be a factor anymore when taking this. I did notice a little more size increase when supplementing with this (although that should probably attributed to programming, intensity, etc.). Often times you maybe be paying for the brands with supplements, like protein. However, I will still usually go with ON because they are well trusted, and very reputable. They always seem to put out great products.
Value: A bit Pricey as Compared to other protein supplements available in the market.
Optimum has been in the game along time, and they always seem to put out good products. This whey is no exception. The taste can't beat, and you can find a flavor for anyone. The value is good. This product is effeftive. This will be my go-to protein for awhile.

Best protein shake out there. Next to no carbs and sugars, helping me make weight for competitions, also great tasting! Recommended for anyone to add to their nutrition plan with training.
My favourite Protein Powder (Vanilla FTW!) Two scoops with water after my workouts is really helping! Recommended!
